Lord of ALL

He sent the message to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all. – Acts 10:36

Is Jesus Christ Lord of all … or just some? Like the Deaf (99% unreached globally), there are thousands of people groups without a consistent gospel witness. They remain unreached.

It is true that God first sent His message of salvation to the sons of Israel, but it was their responsibility to take this good news of peace through Christ to the world (Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost). A remnant within Israel was faithful and some of those who heard (in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost) followed.

Yet, here is the question. Has the work that they began been completed? The task that was included in God’s promise to our “father” by faith (Abraham) … blessed to be a blessing to the nations … has it been accomplished? We who believe in Jesus ( as spiritual “sons of Israel) also have the same message from the Messenger, which means that we have a responsibility to ultimately fulfill. If Jesus is indeed Lord of ALL (and not just some), then while we breathe we must also reach.

Lord, grant that I may always desire more than I can accomplish. – Michelangelo
