“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.” – Isaiah 1:18

The message of the Bible is a message of forgiveness.
We sin. Adam started it and everyone else followed. We sin because, well, we’re sinners. The Apostle Paul cried, “Wretched man that I am!” and I think I understand his frustration. We sin because we’re sinners who desperately need a Savior and the blood of Christ (our Savior) is the only perfect payment for that sin. There is no other.
On the other hand, Isaiah gives us a precious promise that even if our sins are like scarlet, they can be as white as snow. Why not be forgiven?
Could any offer be more reasonable?
Forgiveness is always free, but that doesn’t mean confession is always easy. – Erwin Lutzer
