Make the Most of Your Time

Therefore, be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. – Ephesians 5:15-16

The first three chapters of Paul’s letter to the Ephesian church address what we should believe. The last three chapters then proscribe how we should live out that belief, or as he put it, how we should walk.

Some walk through this life completely unaware of all that is going on around them. If this condition becomes severe, then a person might be labeled mentally handicapped. There are those, and let it not be us, who likewise walk through life “spiritually” handicapped, completely unaware of God’s handiwork.

Those who claim to know Christ were re-born for a higher purpose than this. Don’t waste it.

And people who do not know the Lord ask why in the world we waste our lives as missionaries. They forget that they too are expending their lives, and when the bubble has burst, they will have nothing of eternal significance to show for the years they have wasted. – Nate Saint
